Academic Writing Month 2026
You're In
You've got a seat at every Monday writing retreat this November. Come to as many as suit you. You don't need to make all five.
Everything you need is on this page, and we've emailed you a copy too. Add the dates to your calendar now and the link will be there when you want it.
Your Zoom link
It's the same link for all five Mondays.

Your November retreats
UK clocks go back on 25 October, so in November the retreats run on GMT. If you're joining from outside the UK, check what 9am GMT is where you are.
Before your first Monday
- Bring whatever you're working on. A chapter, a paper, your lit review, some analysis, the reading pile. It doesn't need to be ready.
- Decide the night before where you'll start. Then the first block goes on work, not on choosing.
- Expect a short check-in at 9am. You'll say hello and name the one thing you want done by 1pm.
- Then four 60-minute work blocks, with a 10-minute break between each. Microphones stay muted, and your camera is up to you.
- Come to the Mondays that work for you. One, two or all five, it's up to you. You can also join late or leave early. Drop in during a break if you can.
Questions? Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you.
See you in November.
