Four hours of focused PhD work with people who actually get it.

Every Monday morning. Structured, supported, and surrounded by other PhD students who understand exactly what you’re going through. Whether you’re writing, reading, planning, or just trying to get unstuck — you’ll get more done in one session than you have all week.

This Monday | 9am–1pm UK time | £14

You already know what you need to do. The problem is doing it alone.

You sit down on a Monday morning. You open the document. And then… nothing. Not because you’re lazy. Not because you don’t care. Because doing deep, difficult work in complete isolation is paralysing.

The Monday Focus Session changes the room you’re working in. Instead of sitting alone at your desk, you’re sitting alongside 20-30 other PhD students — all working on their own thesis, all dealing with the same challenges, all showing up because they know they get more done when they’re not doing it alone.

That’s not motivation. That’s structure. And it works.

Here’s How It Works

Four hours. Three focused work blocks with short breaks and check-ins between them. You bring whatever you’re working on — planning, structuring, analysing, writing, it all counts — and work alongside 20-30 other PhD students.

Camera on or off. Be as active or as passive as you like. No one will read your work. Share if you want to, or just work in silence — there’s no pressure either way. Just show up and do the work, with people who understand why it’s hard to do it alone.

Three Work Blocks

60 minutes each. Camera on or off. Bring whatever you’re working on — planning, structuring, analysing, writing, it all counts. Work in silence alongside everyone else.

Three Breaks

15 minutes each. Share a win, ask a question, or just grab a coffee. No pressure either way.

One check-in at the start, one wrap-up at the end.

Introduce yourself or just listen. Celebrate what you got done. The whole thing runs 9am–1pm, UK time.
