Structured writing support and peer community for doctoral researchers.
We work with doctoral colleges and training partnerships to deliver scalable, evidence-based support — helping PhD students write consistently, feel less isolated, and submit on time.
The UK higher education sector is under unprecedented pressure — and doctoral researchers are feeling it. PRES data consistently shows that belonging, wellbeing, and community are among the lowest-scoring indicators for PGR students. Completion timelines are stretching. Researcher development teams are being asked to do more with less.
These challenges need more than a single intervention. Whether it is a targeted masterclass, an intensive writing bootcamp, or sustained daily community access, the key is matching the right support to the right cohort at the right time.

What our facilitators say
We typically start with a small pilot — a single masterclass, a bootcamp for one cohort, or 10–20 community licences for a term. All services sit comfortably within standard university procurement thresholds. Purchase order accepted, no formal tender required.
Students are onboarded quickly and can join their first session the next day. We handle scheduling, facilitation, and reporting. Your team does not need to administer anything.
